Virtual Community Conversation on Climate Change
You are invited to a Wampanoag community conversation to learn about climate change and share your experiences with climate change on Martha's Vineyard.
This event is part of a project coordinated by the Martha’s Vineyard Commission and is an island wide effort to better prepare for climate change by learning directly from residents. We want to listen to people whose experiences and perspectives are not always reflected in formal planning processes.
We are especially interested in hearing from community members who may face added challenges during extreme weather, such as housing/job instability, food access disruptions, or health related impacts. What we hear will help inform island wide priorities and guide future resilience projects so they reflect real needs and lived experience.
