Through collaboration between the Aquinnah Cultural Center and the Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project, this class is an immersion nest for those who are just beginning their language journey or want a refresher on how to introduce themselves, ask questions, and learn the sounds of Wôpanâak. Each week’s lesson builds on the last; we kindly ask that registered students attend all scheduled sessions!

When: 5:30-6:30 PM ET, In-Person
Thursdays October 1st - December 10th, 2026

Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this nest. All learners welcome!

NOTE: All learners must be enrolled, or a household member of an enrolled citizen of: Assonet Wampanoag; Aquinnah Wampanoag; Herring Pond Wampanoag; or Mashpee Wampanoag
